The Father’s Gift – Part 1

“Write the vision, and make it a clear path to follow.”

“And the Lord answered me and said, ‘Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may (be able to) read (it easily and quickly) as he hastens by.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end (fulfillment): it will not deceive or disappoint.  Though it tarry, wait (earnestly) for it, because it will surely come: it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.’ ”  Habakkuk 2:2-3  Amplified Bible

I recently had a very cool dream.  In it I was a little girl, probably about 8 years old, and I was standing next to my dad.  We were both all dressed up. I had on a dress my mother had sown for me for a piano recital, and my dad had on a nice black suit and tie.  My dad handed me a gift.  It was a toy bow and arrow set!  I remember I was thrilled and could not wait to go out and shoot it!  I took it out of the package, and quickly ran outside with it.

Then the dream changed.  I was now an adult.  I was standing at the front tip of a line of women, forming a giant arrowhead.  We were all dressed in beautiful out of the ordinary clothes.  They were similar to clothes women wore in the Middle Ages like the Renaissance.  We were all dressed like royalty and had beautiful crowns on our heads.  We all stood with purpose and had real bows and arrows in our hands.  Simultaneously, we all raised them up together and pointed in the same direction.

The dream changed again.  There was a big red stained wall made of wood.  It reminded me of what the side of a barn looks like.  The Lord does have a sense of humor, you know.  I shot my arrow first, it had flames on its tip and it hit the barn wall.  The flames burst onto the wall.  Then all the other arrows hit the wall as well and the whole wall went up into flames!

The interpretation:  Like my earthly father, my Heavenly Father has given me a special gift, one that I am thrilled with and am excited to use.  It’s a gift many women have.  The arrows represent the word of God being sent out for others to receive.  The fire on the arrows represents the fire of God’s Holy Spirit, His presence and His Anointing!  The red barn wall leads me to believe it will be easy to hit the mark!  And with these gifts God, our Heavenly Father, has given us, we can make a difference, when we all stand together united!

Pursue the dreams God has put in your heart, and watch Him bless your efforts!  He is the Father God who moves mountains for His little girls.  He is the Son Jesus that takes the impossible and makes it possible.  He is the Holy Spirit River that clears the way and takes us where we’ve never been in His presence.  He is awesome!
