We are living in a Divine Reset!  What does that mean?  That means God is resetting everything!

When you read the Bible, you can easily see that the “Reset” is nothing new for God Almighty.

Listen to Habakkuk’s heart in the Amplified Bible Version:  Habakkuk 2:1

“(Oh, I know, I have been rash to talk out (so) plainly this way to God!)  (But) I will (in my thinking) stand upon my post of observation.  (Habakkuk is observing and he’s looking at all the craziness and the evil that is going on in his nation.)

And I will station myself on the tower or fortress, (He has gone to his secret place of intercession and he is stationed there.  That means he is not moving.)

And I will watch to see what He will say within me (He is watching to hear what the Lord is going to say to his heart.  I love that.  God speaks to the heart.)

And (then) what answer I will make (as His mouthpiece) to the perplexities of my complaint against Him.”

We, the body of Christ, individually and corporately, must do the same.  We must go to our post of observation.  We must be steadfast, immovable, and locked in to hear from God during this time of reset.  God is doing something that is beyond us all.

Let’s look at the Divine Resets that have already happened in the Bible, and why God had to do them.  This will help us in our faith walk for these days we are living in.

Noah and The Ark – The First Reset

In Genesis 6 and 7 the Bible tells the history of what happened in the days of Noah.  Much research has been done by many historians and men of God about this tragic fall of man.  There were “Watchers” that God had sent to the earth to watch over mankind.  There were about 120 of them.  In Genesis 6:2, they are called “the sons of God”.  These watchers lusted after the human women and abandoned their assignments (that is their posts of observation) given by God, and made a pact to take the human women for themselves.  They polluted the whole earth with their offspring known as the Nephilim.  These giants were perversed in everyway.  They corrupted every living thing including all the animals, and made monsters out of them.  They taught man many things that were not pleasing to God and corrupted them completely with their perversions even to the point of drinking blood and cannibalism.  How horrific!

 

Genesis 6:1, 6-8 in the NIV  “When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful and they married any of them they chose.  Then the Lord said, ‘My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal, his days will be a hundred and twenty years.  (That means the Lord gave them 120 years to repent.)  The nephilim were on the earth in those days . . . verse 12  “And God looked upon the world and saw how degenerate, debased, and vicious it was, for all humanity had corrupted their way upon the earth and lost their true direction.”

 

Romans 1:28 and 32 explains it clearly.   “And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome . . .  Though they are fully aware of God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them.”

 

Genesis 6:8 Amplified, “But Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord.”   Verse 9 NIV  “This is the account of Noah.  Noah was a righteouse man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God”  Verse 13 & 14 “God said to Noah, I intend to make an end of all flesh, for through men the land is filled with violence; and behold, I will destroy them and the land.  Make yourself an ark . . . ”  

 

So, Noah and the ark was the first reset that God “had to make” in order to save mankind.

 

The Tower of Babel – The Second Reset

Genesis 11:1, 4, & 9

“(1) And the whole earth was of one language and of one accent and mode of expression. . . (4) And they said, Come, let us build us a city and a tower whose top reaches into the sky, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered over the whole earth. . .”

In their conciet and vanity they prophesied what was going to happen to them.  They wanted to be high and lifted up like God, and then caused the very thing they did not want to happen, to happen.

(5-9) “And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.  and the Lord said, Behold,they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do, will be impossible for them.” 

Then Father God and His Son Jesus, said . . .

“Come, let Us go down and there confound (mix up, confuse) their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

Now you have to realize it had not been that long ago that God had to flood the whole earth and start over with Noah and his family.  They knew what the evil intents of their hearts were, and it was time to do something to stop the perverted worship of evil again.

“So the Lord scattered them abroad from that place, upon the face of the whole earth, and they gave up building the city.  Therefore the name of it was called Babel – because the Lord there confounded the language of all the earth; and from that place the Lord scattered them abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”

So the Tower of Babel was God’s second reset.

God Made a Freind & Promise – The Third Reset.

Then God looked into the future to prepare for another reset.  This time He had a hidden plan to openly expose, and shame the people for worshiping sick demonic idols.  He patiently waited and watched for a man who would believe in Him and follow Him.  That man was Abraham.   Because Abraham was obedient to leave his home and follow Adonai the assignment was set into motion.

We all know the promise Adonai gave Abraham.  He would have a son with his wife Sarah and have a lineage of children as many as the stars in the sky!   In Genesis 15:13-16 Adonai gave Abraham a prophesy that would take 400 years to complete.  Joseph, Abraham’s great grandson, through a series of difficult life events, became second in command of Egypt, and provided for his father and brothers and even all their families and all they had during the greatest drought Egypt had ever had for 7 years.

The synergy of the next 7 generations was activated!

Moses was the divine set up for Abraham’s reset!  When God spoke to Abraham and made a blood covenant, everything shifted!!  Everything God wanted to do went into motion.  God showed the devil and his demonic entities, and all the known world Who He was.  To this day we talk about it, we have written books about it, there have been probably thousands of sermans given about it and movies about what God did with Moses and the power He demonstrated to set His people free from a demonic government and lifestyle that enslaved them.

The first 3 of the 10 commandments reads:

1 –
